Ecotourism to support conservation of the Lacandon Rainforest
In the El Pirú ejido, there is a visitors’ center where ejido members offer ecotourism services. There is a large kitchen. They prepare delicious breakfasts to give you lots of energy so that you can kayak down the river rapids and enjoy the scenery, wildlife and adventure offered by the Lacandon Rainforest. Facilities include spacious bathrooms with hot showers, dressing-rooms and a verandah to enjoy a well-earned rest at the end of your adventure.
